• Where do we go for desert safari in Abu Dhabi?

  We take you to Al Khatem normally, a place located around 45 minutes drive from the main city on Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road.. Extreme adventure tours are to LIWA Desert

• From where will we be picked up?

  We pick our guests from all famous landmarks such as shpping malls or hotels and happening places within the city limits.

• When will we be picked up for this exciting tour?

  Though timings depend greatly on the climate, usual timings are as follows: • Morning Safari: 8AM to 12PM • Evening Safari: 3.30PM to 10PM • Overnight Safari: 3.30PM to 9AM next day

• What type of vehicles do you send for desert safari?

  Usually they are luxury vehicles with 4-wheel drive - Toyota Land Cruiser

• What is the seating capacity of these vehicles?

  There is space for 6 except the driver. Remember, there is hardly any space for luggage (in fact, you don’t need it) in the shared vehicles and you need to hire a private one if you have loads of luggage.

• What is the typical travelling time for dune bashing?

  It takes around half an hour or 45 minutes to reach dune bashing spot.

• I am not interested in dune bashing. Can I skip the program and directly go to safari?

  Since it is a shared vehicle, you can’t unless the whole group agrees for it. If you wish to do so, then you need to hire a special car that takes you directly to the camp. We have afternoon dune bashing program. Pickup at 3 pm. 1 hour journey to desert. 45 minutes dune bashing and back to Abu Dhabi. Cost: AED 1000 (01 - 04 persons) 5th person: AED 150 extra, 6th person: AED 150 extra

• Are seat belts provided in the vehicles?

  Yes, every vehicle is equipped with an adequate number of seat belts.

• Can I keep my toddler with me during safari or dune bashing?

  Yes. Child below 3 years have to be kept on lap of yours.

• What is the dress code for safari tour?

  You can wear loose casuals.. Mind the footwear because fashionable and fancy stuff doesn’t sustain in the sand. Wear sturdy footwear that covers the feet. Sandals are not adviced. Wear shoes. Please don't put jewels when doing Safari




• We heard that the safari rides don’t have baby seats. Is it true?

  Yes, it is true. Our vehicles do not have baby seats. However, you may bring one if you wish to. We accommodate it with an additional charge for kids.

• What information should I supply while booking the tour?

  We need demographic details like Package selected, Date of the tour, group size, Name, contact number, pickup location location, and hotel room number if any.

• Non-vegetarian food is a strict NO for me. Do you serve some veggie stuff?

  Yes, we respect the feelings and cultural beliefs of all guests. Our BBQ Dinner menu includes a wide variety of veg. and non-vegetarian platters to select from the list. Enjoy the finest dishes with a choice of soft-drinks and or mineral water.

• Is Desert Safari Abu Dhabi available all round the year?

  Yes, this adventurous tour is available round the year (even on public holidays and weekends). However, it is always advised to do booking well in advance because there is an incredible rush sometimes.

• What is the duration of camel ride or sand boarding?

  Camel riding is for 5 - 10 minutes and sand boarding Is subject to availability (No time limit).

• I have heard a lot about Quad bike and Dune Buggy. Is it available there? Will it charge me something?

  We have small quad bikes which can be availed at AED 50 per 10 minutes. Dune buggies are to be booked atleast 5 days before tour. It's comparitively expensive.

• May I bring my own brand of liquor?

  We are sorry, but we don’t allow alcohol from outside. However, you don’t have to worry because we have the best brands available in our bar counter where you can enjoy.

• What is the usual sleeping arrangement in the Night Safari?

  We offer well-decorated and neatly maintained Bedouin tents where you spend the night. The bed and pillows are extremely comfy and you will have a sound sleep. There are no programs overnight, so you can sleep like a baby until we give a wake-up call for the morning breakfast.

• I am used to shower bath. Is it available in the camps?

  Yes it is. We have shower and toilet facilities available in the camp. However, AC or running hot water is not available.

• Is there any possibility of picking up the guests from Sheikh Zayed mosque or Ferrari world?

  Yes. We can. Mention exact waiting point with a working phone at UAE.
